As president of Delta Sigma Pi at Michigan State University, I would like to welcome you to our official website. 

 

What is DSP?

DSP is a co-ed professional business fraternity with the mission to help students develop and advance in their professional careers. We are organized to provide a professional network, opportunities to participate in community service and fundraising events, as well as a brotherhood to support you along the way. DSP not only assists you in establishing a career but also has the ability to create lifelong friendships through our social events and outings! 

 

We offer a multitude of career development resources for our members including professional events, career panels, and mentorship. We provide our members with professional guidance and a diverse alumni base to network with. For an ambitious individual seeking to make a difference and achieve success in the business world, there is no better place to start. In addition, with our brotherhood on campus featuring over 125 members, you are always in a class with your brothers, see them on weekends and pass them throughout campus. 

 

My Experience

At the start of my freshman year, I knew I wanted to be a part of a community of like minded individuals. When DSP was brought up to me, I immediately knew I wanted to join this group of amazing individuals. After DSPs Meet the Chapter, there was no doubt in my mind that this was the perfect organization for me. Being a brother has provided me with a lot of professional development opportunities, as well as has brought me amazing friends that will last a lifetime. Joining DSP has been the best decision that I have made at Michigan State and I will forever be grateful for all of the amazing opportunities it has given me. 

 

About Me

I am currently a junior, majoring in Finance with a minor in Religious Studies. Aside from DSP I am a member of the Wealth Management Association, as well as the Dashney Women’s Leadership Accelerator Program. This upcoming summer I have accepted an internship with Abercrombie and Fitch, working as a corporate finance intern. In my free time I enjoy having game nights with fellow DSP brothers, cheering on MSU athletics, hanging out in Broad and having a night in with my roommates (also DSP brothers)! It is hard for me to pick a favorite DSP memory because there are so many great ones, but some include Ski Weekend, Chicago Professional Trip, gamedays with brothers, Semi-Formal and Hayride. For me, DSP has been a place filled with encouragement and supportive people that continuously push each other to be their best. 

 

Next Steps

On this website, you can find information about upcoming rush events, which I highly encourage you to attend! Members of DSP are the first people you want to hang out with on a Friday night, but when it’s time for your Monday morning accounting lecture, they are also the first people you want to sit next to.
